Todays gentle, introductory walk started with catching the 1014 from Settle to Dent. We left the station and went down the steep hill to Cowgill. then followed cowgill beck, over Snaizwold Fell, (which was very boggy and very steep in places) to Garsdale where we had lunch. After lunch we followed the Clough river valley to Garsdale station where we took the train back to Settle
